For years, I had a steady and respectable job - the kind of career you're supposed to feel grateful for. But somewhere along the way, I realized I had been drowning, burnt out.
So I did the frightening thing. I left. For a long while, I lived in fear and confusion. Without a stable income, without the title I'd spent years earning, I wasn't sure who I was anymore.
But through all of it, one thing kept my spirit alive: making art.
When everything else felt uncertain, I could still sit down with my Ipad and slip into a little world of cozy cats, cute penguins, tiny trinkets.
